ABOUT
Meet the Founder
Andrew Latham White is an investment advisor with a life-long passion for investing and the heart of a teacher. From starting lemonade stands to investing in mutual funds while still in grade school, he has always had an enthusiasm for business and investing. Over the years, he has continued to pursue and expand that interest. After a 21-year career with the Department of Defense as a research mathematician, computer security expert, and technical leader, Andrew founded Latham Financial. He founded the firm with the goal of guiding others through the world of investing.
He’d love to sit down with you over a coffee or a lemonade and discuss your goals and how investing can help you achieve them.
About the Name
"Latham is my middle name and I inherited it from my grandfather. It was his middle name and my great grandmother’s maiden name. She was descended from the Earl of Latham in Lancashire, England. Latham is from an old Norse word and means from the house with the barn. It conveys both the idea of a storehouse, and a pastoral quality that fits the peaceful, down-to-earth spirit of Latham Financial."

This photo appeared in the newspaper from Andrew's hometown, Colebrook, NH, in 1988, when Andrew was 6 years old.
F AQ
Are you a fiduciary?
Yes. We are required by law and moral obligation to operate in the best interest of our clients.

If I have an initial consult with Latham Financial, will I get charged for advice?
No. We never collect any payment from clients until a formal signed client agreement is in place. We’d love to have an initial consultation with you, learn about your situation and goals, and determine a path forward.

What should I bring to the initial consult?
We can begin the discussion with what you have. However, to be most productive, it is helpful to have a list of your main assets and debts, your approximate income and expenses, and information about your existing investments. We'll discuss questions like: How much do you want to invest? What are your goals for investing? What is the timeframe for your investing?

Latham Financial is a small business. Will my assets be safe?
Of course! We’ll help you open an appropriate brokerage account in your name where your money, stocks, mutual funds, etc. will be held in custody with a large multinational brokerage.
