If you are not sure what an investment advisor does, or why you would benefit from working with one, you are not alone. I think most people don’t know what to expect, so I’d like to briefly describe the process.
First, you reach out to me and we set up an initial meeting. There is no cost for this meeting and no obligation, so don’t hesitate to reach out even if you aren’t sure.
At our initial meeting, I learn about you and your financial situation. I’ll ask about your goals, so that I can make sure any financial advice is truly suited to help you achieve what you value. I describe my services, and you can ask me any questions you may have.
If we decide it makes sense to work together, then:
• I gather any additional financial information from you.
• I create an investment plan, geared toward your goals and timeframe, and present it to you.
• I help you get any needed accounts opened, set up, or transferred, including brokerage accounts, IRAs, Roth IRAs, etc.
• I manage the accounts for you, allocating and monitoring the investments.
• I am readily available to help with financial questions that come up, or to adapt the investment plan if your life circumstances or goals change.
• And more.
In short, you will have a professional investment expert in your corner to help support you throughout your financial journey and manage your investment accounts so that you can focus your time and energy on what matters most in your life.
